Symantec Endpoint Protection Management (SEPM)

Penn State currently licenses Symantec Enterprise A/V Solutions for use by system administrators at the University. ITS supports Symantec Endpoint Protection Management (SEPM) services for administrators to centrally manage Symantec Endpoint clients.

In order to properly leverage the service, system administrators must sign up for SEPM services by contacting

Users should note that the service works in conjunction with the ACCESS Domain, but is not limited to only those machines.

The goal of SEP is to provide Units with a central management interface for clients running Symantec Endpoint Protection (SEP). Providing a central management service, such as SEP, increases usability while alleviating service duplication.
