Undergraduate Education Travel Request Release 1 of the the Penn State Workflow System occurred on March 24, 2008. This release is a significant milestone for several reasons: Workflow is the first application fully integrated with PAWS (Penn State Administrative Web Suite) Workflow utilizes WebAccess which enables users to login with their Penn State Access ID Workflow is a role-based approval system which routes processes to approval nodes and acted upon by persons who have been assigned that role Workflow is a Web-based process approval system The Undergraduate Education Travel Request is the first paper-based process to be automated and made available in the Workflow System Release 1 was deployed in a limited capacity, runs on the production Workflow System and performs official, University business. Participating areas include: College of Engineering College of Arts & Architecture New Kensington Campus
