How do I print my eDDS report?

eDDS is a report viewing system. While we do our best to accommodate the printing needs of our users, the primary purpose of eDDS is to provide viewing of reports, making them available to users across all Penn State campuses.

Why do I receive strange text at the top of my EIS printouts?

If this strange text begins with a "%Adobe...," it is because your TCP number is set up to send Postscript code with your reports.  One possible solution is to enable the Postscript on your printer.

Another possible cause is if your LPD print queue is manipulating the report print attributes - allowing font selection and page setup - you should change the print queue to "pass data directly to the printer (raw)."

I am using AIS applications and need to have print capabilities from AIS Systems. What do I need?

The operating system you are using determines what you need to print from AIS applications. Please refer to the appropriate link on the TCP LPD Print Server page.
