TPX Interface
The TPX interface will replace Net-Pass for all mainframe systems users at the end of the day on Friday, February 24, 2012.
TPX and Net-Pass will be available simultaneously until that time. This will give users the opportunity to familiarize themselves with TPX and then make the conversion at their own pace. Users are encouraged to convert as soon as they're comfortable, but only the TPX Interface will be available after February 24.
We do not expect the conversion to be difficult. TPX is easy to use and is initially set up with a default screen that contains the most-used systems that can easily be personalized for a user's convenience.
To ensure that the conversion goes smoothly, ITS Training Services has created both a TPX Quick-Start Guide and TPX Tutorial to assist with the conversion, which are available below.
Notes:
- To log in to TPX, enter "TPX" at the command line at the bottom of the current Net-pass welcome screen. The command keys cannot be assigned to the same PF keys that are used for the TPX sesskey options.
- You might not have access to all of the systems shown on the default screen.
- The command keys are the keys at the top and the bottom of the TPX menu page (listed below). The sesskeys are the pf keys you use when logging into the applications or services that you
have. If you have the same pf key assigned to command keys and sesskeys, it will only work for one of the options.
