Accessing Vendor Data

Requests for authorization of Data Warehouse user access to the IBIS Vendor data should be directed to:

Upon approval of authorization, the request will be forwarded to the AIS Security Office for assignment of a Data Warehouse userID and password. You will then be notified of your access privileges, userID and password.

Any changes in the job position or responsibilities of the designated user should be reported to jab3@psu.edu (Jan Barnoff).

Vendor Information

__X_(bi_vendor) Individuals can view all vendor information in the following tables:  cert,
         cross_reference, na_class, order_from, standard_class, and supplier.
____(bi_vendor_payto) The individual cannot see sensitive (non public) vendor payto records.
____(bi_vendor_payto_restricted)  The individual(s) may see both sensitive and public
        vendor payto records.

Vendor Payment Information

____(bi_vendor_payment) Individuals can view vendor payment information based on IBISFIN
         access to the following tables:  vend_payment, vend_payment_detail.  Users must have
          been granted IBISFIN access to view vendor payment information.
____(bi_vendor_payment_purc) Individuals can view vendor payment information that is
        specifically identified for purchasing use:  vend_payment_purc, vend_payment_detail_purc.

These individuals have an excellent understanding of IBIS Vendor related data.

These individuals have read and understand University policies AD-20 and AD-23 regarding the confidentiality of data. These individuals have an understanding of the University's IBIS system and of data analysis.

By virtue of the fact that these individuals will be downloading Computerized Institutional Data to their own microcomputers or servers, they are now operating an Operational Computer Facility and agree to conform to the requirements of an Operational Computer Facility as outlined in University Policy AD-23 and University Guideline ADG-02
