Student-Related Services
Administrative Information Services (AIS) provides two types of student services—those for faculty and staff and those for students, themselves. For faculty and staff, AIS services assist with course management and tracking student records; for students, AIS provides services for tracking their own academic and financial records and enhancing classroom participation..
Services
- A New Global Environment for Learning (ANGEL)
-
ANGEL is Penn State’s course management system (CMS), enabling faculty, instructors, and teaching assistants to use the Web to enhance courses. ANGEL is designed for use in any academic discipline and does not impose a particular teaching methodology. AIS, in partnership with Teaching & Learning with Technology (TLT) and Consulting and Support Services (CSS), supports ANGEL.
For an overview, visit the ANGEL Overview page, and if you’ve already obtained access, you may login to ANGEL.
- Electronic Integrated Student Information System (eISIS)
-
eISIS provides Penn State faculty and staff (not available to students) access to those administrative applications that have a Web interface. These applications contain data on students who are currently taking, or have previously taken, courses at any of the campuses. Applications available through eISIS include EMIA (Alpha Student Lookup) and ERISDN (Degree Audit Request and View).
If you have already obtained a Penn State Access Account and a Second Factor Authentification Token, then you may login to eISIS.
- eLion
-
eLion is an award winning Web-based service for students, advisers, and faculty. eLion provides secure, real-time access to academic and financial records in the University's administrative database.
For more information about the eLion system, please see the Project Introduction page. If you've already obtained access, you may login to eLion.
- Integrated Student Information System (ISIS)
-
ISIS, accessible to faculty and staff (not students), is the centralized student system that manages the records for all Penn State students--graduate, undergraduate, credit, and non-credit--at all Penn State locations. ISIS manages student records from admission through graduation, including billing, course scheduling, student aid, and transcripts.
ISIS host Web sites are Admissions, Bursar, Graduate School, Housing and Food Services, Registrar, and Student Aid.
For information about, or to login into, the Electronic Integrated Student Information Systems (eISIS), visit the eISIS page.
