Delete Modules

  1. ISIS--fill in ISIS Procedure/Program Deletion form.
    • (You can reference the current status of these deletes by accessing in Roscoe, STU.ISISHELP; select #12 DELLIST, ISIS Deletions.)
  2. IBIS--send request to Steve Savard (sds3@psu.edu)

Transcript Message Codes

There is a new spreadsheet that has been created in which we are trying to keep track where and what transcript message codes exist. Go to Natural Rewrite Project page; then, click on the AU2DSA that has the Excel spreadsheet icon. What we would like to have done anytime that a new transcript message code is to be created are the following steps:

  1. First look at the spreadsheet mentioned above to give you an idea on what transcript message codes could be available.
  2. After you find one that you think you can use, you will need to do NATSCANs to make sure that transcript message code is not being used already.
  3. If it is not, then we would like you to contact Linda Copland (lvh3@psu.edu) to see if you can use the new transcript code. You will need to provide the transcript number, the module you plan on using it in, the type of message (action, yrsem, or post), and the message.
  4. Linda will then contact the Registrar's office and once approved will contact you and update the list.

Data Integrity Reports

  • Tools for researching problems:
    • There are programs in POOL (acom/bcom), named in this format--dump233 and dump999 (that dump is by isn). If you want a dump by isn of file 233, you could look for dump 233 or login to POOL to see if there is something close to what you want.

Miscellaneous

  • GETPNAME, GETVPAR and GETFD are rpfs to get  procedure names Vpars and FDs.
    • Wendy Weaver (wsw2@psu.edu) currently has access to these & does them for internal & external user's .
    • Also, Registrar's Office has access to these and handles their own.
  • Requests/changes for test id's should be directed to Linda Copland (lvh3@psu.edu)
  • Summary of ISIS (Student) Database Maintenance Requests
    • (You can reference the current status of these by accessing ROSCOE, STU.ISIS HELP, Select # 4, Dtabase Maintenance Requests).
