Financial Information Tool (FIT)
FIT is a tool for budget administrators to perform management functions for one account with IBIS Financial data. FIT can be used to manage research grants and contracts, view balances, review detailed financial records, monitor encumbrances, and produce timely reports tailored to meet a department's needs.

Object Code Description Change
Starting in fiscal year 2008/2009, object code 0490 (old description - Management Fee) will have a description of Program Management. FIT will need to be updated to reflect this change.

Hours of Availability
FIT is available 7 days per week, from 7 a.m. through 3 a.m.
System Requirements
Windows
Windows 2000 or Windows XP (Windows 98, Windows ME and Windows Vista not supported)
Macintosh
Mac OS X - Intel or PowerPC (Mac OS 8.x, Mac OS 9.x, Mac OS X Leopard on non-Intel Macintosh machines not supported)
Printing
Postscript-enabled printer for printing (PCL print drivers will not work with FIT)
Obtaining Access
In order to access FIT, please make sure the following arrangements have been made:
- Have AIS Security grant IBIS access to function ISTR via the Systems Access Form
- Download the FIT application
