Financial Information Tool (FIT)

FIT is a tool for budget administrators to perform management functions for one account with IBIS Financial data. FIT can be used to manage research grants and contracts, view balances, review detailed financial records, monitor encumbrances, and produce timely reports tailored to meet a department's needs.

General Information

Hours of Availability

FIT is available 7 days per week, from 7 a.m. through 3 a.m.

System Requirements

Windows
Windows Vista, Windows XP or Windows 7 (Windows 98, Windows ME and Windows 2000 not supported)

Macintosh
Mac OS X - Intel  (Mac OS 8.x, Mac OS 9.x, Mac OS X PowerPC not supported)
Mac OS 10.8.x is not currently supported for FIT

Printing
Postscript-enabled or PCL print drivers for printing

Obtaining Access

In order to access FIT, please make sure the following arrangements have been made:

  • Have AIS Security grant IBIS access to function ISTR via the Systems Access Form
  • Download the FIT application
