Training Opportunities

Below are various training resources for EIS users and developers. Training for EIS users is provided by ITS Training Services, while the developer training is available through IBM.

User Training

Information Technology Services (ITS) Training Services will be used to coordinate all Enterprise Information System (EIS) Training. ITS will maintain a listing of all EIS Training seminars available, dates and times, instructor names, as well as how many seats are available.

In order to obtain a listing of all EIS classes and the dates/times they are being offered:

  • Visit ITS Training Services
  • Select "Register for Training" from the vertical navigation bar on the right
  • You will be prompted for your Penn State Access Account ID and password
  • You may be prompted to enter your contact information. This is only done one time and will get your information into the ITS Training system
  • Click on the "Seminars" button
  • Click on the "Admininstrative Computing" link or enter "EIS" in the search box

The suggested training sequence for becoming a proficient EIS user includes:
