AIS, through eCommerce Services, has centralized the payment processing technology necessary for a secure, stable eCommerce environment at Penn State. These services, which include ePay, ePay Credit Card Swipe, eCommerce API, and eStore Hosting, provide a fast, cost-effective approach for departments adding eCommerce capabilities to their Web applications and business processes.

With more than 100 locations—at University Park and Commonwealth campus locations—using the service, Penn State’s eCommerce securely processes thousands of transactions daily.

Hours of Availability

eCommerce is available 7 days per week, 24 hours per day.

Note: On occasion, server and/or database maintenance activities might interrupt this schedule between 5 a.m. and 7 a.m. (EST).

Obtaining Access

Please note that access to the secured eCommerce pages on this Web site are restricted to faculty and staff. Wage payroll employees and students do not have access to the secured pages.

Refunds and Cancellations

Penn State will attempt to refund eCommerce transactions back to the card holder. We will not refund to another card. If we are unable to refund to the card, Penn State University will issue the refund via check.

Penn State comprises of many departments and areas. Each specific area will have its own policy on refunds or cancellations. For example, many seminars are popular and fill up quickly. The seminar provider may not want last minute cancellations since the seminar would not be full; thus, they may have a cancellation date to receive full refund.
