Emergency Contact Information System (ECIS)

The ECIS provides emergency contact information collected from Penn State students and employees for notification purposes about an emergency situation that may affect health or safety. This information may not be used for any other purpose. Authorized University personnel include on-call Student Affairs staff, designated police and security officers, Human Resource Representatives, and other on-call staff at each campus as designated by the campus Director of Student Affairs.

If you have already obtained access, you may login to ECIS.

Hours of Availability

ECIS is available 7 days per week, 24 hours per day.

Note: On occasion, server and/or database maintenance activities might interrupt this schedule.

The following browsers are supported by the vendor providing the software used for the Emergency Contact Information System:

Windows
Firefox 3.x and Internet Explorer 7.x

Macintosh
Firefox 3.x

The ECIS reports are best viewed using Internet Explorer.

Obtaining Access

In order to obtain access to ECIS, you must contact the Access and Security Representative (ASR) within your unit. Your ASR will submit a request for access to be approved by the ECIS Security Representative.
