Applications Development
In order to provide services to faculty, staff, and students across the entire University, from department to department and from campus to campus, Administrative Information Services (AIS) enables a variety of University applications to seamlessly access University data, ensuring the reliability and availability of various systems.
Services
- Generalized Interface (GI)
-
GI enables developers throughout the University to use a variety of programming languages to design Web applications that perform business functions using AIS data. The GI facilitates the exchange of information between departmental systems and central AIS databases, using the Interface as a "bridge" to AIS data and a "repository" for Web services.
For GI requests and questions, you may submit a Request For Service (RFS).
