Software Overview

The DBA-ES group not only uses software to meet its database administration mission, we also use a wide range of products in conjunction with database software.  DBA-ES also installs the software it uses.  Most people recognize the names of most of our core products; however, some may not be aware of all the products we use and install.

To get a better idea of the wide range of software DBA-ES installs, supports, and uses in our daily operations, please visit the vendor-specific links on the DBA-ES home page.  On these pages you will find the product names, the version currently used, and the versions we have in-house, several of which we hope to upgrade by the end of 2009.

Nearly all of these products have interdependencies on the versions installed of other products shown.  Only a few of these products can be installed completely independent of the installed version level of other products.
