Central ID Repository (CIDR)
CIDR (Central ID Repository) provides information on various ID functions throughout Penn State, including Social Security Number (SSN) changes. CIDR contains biographical information used by various systems across the University, including the University’s PSU ID and SSNs, Digital IDs (Access or Friends of Penn State (FPS) accounts), and addresses and dates of birth that can be used for matching records.

Hours of Availability
CIDR is available 7 days per week, from 7 a.m. through 3 a.m.
Obtaining Access
All requests for access to CIDR functions must be submitted by your Access and Security Representative (ASR) to the Administrative Support Center via e-mail. Please refer to the page below for detailed instructions.
