Frequently Asked Questions - Printing
QUESTION: How do I print my eDDS report?

ANSWER: eDDS is a report viewing system. While we do our best to accommodate the printing needs of our users, the primary purpose of eDDS is to provide viewing of reports, making them available to users across all Penn State campuses. If you experience further printing problems, contact your support person or the AIS Support Center at 814-863-2276 or via e-mail.

QUESTION: Why do I receive strange text at the top of my EIS printouts?

ANSWER: If this strange text begins with a "%Adobe...," it is because your TCP number is set up to send Postscript code with your reports.
One possible solution is to enable the Postscript on your printer.
- OR -
If your LPD print queue is manipulating the report print attributes - allowing font selection and page setup - you should change the print queue to "pass data directly to the printer (raw)."
