Adding Images to Standard Pages

After selecting one of the standard templates, you will notice red dots indicating where you are able to add images to the page.  The option to include an image caption exists by clicking on the appropriately labeled red dot.

For example this is what the template for the Public Standard Page looks like:

Note that you are only able to insert two images.  When you bring in images from your local drive, save it to the "Content Images" folder in the Media Catalog.

Adding Alt-tags to Images
An image alt tag is basically a brief, textual description of the image and is displayed when a mouse arrow is moved across the image. Image alt tags are used to provide accessibility for screen readers that scan for image descriptions. Once an image is inserted onto the page, use the following steps to apply the alt tag information:

  1. Click the image in the page to select it.
  2. With the image selected, click the Insert/Edit Image icon Insert/Edit Image Icon on the tool bar to access the attributes box.
  3. Enter a brief description of the image in the ALT box.
  4. You can also add a border, if desired, by placing a "1" in the border box.
