From the Director
Fall has arrived in State College, along with 43,000-plus of our best customers! And another 40,000-plus are scattered around the Commonwealth.
Year in and year out, we continue to expand on-line IT services for our students, faculty, and staff. And year in and year out, the complexity increases, along with the pace of development required to meet expectations. A number of years ago, we set out to establish a Project Management Office (PMO) to help us better manage the more complex projects of the administrative systems community at Penn State. Many of these complex expansions were to--and continue to--originate in the student information services area.
Read the features stories (below) to find out how the PMO is maturing to provide support to our development community and how the growing Student Information services needs of the University
are met by AIS.
