Newsletter Submission Guidelines

Guidelines for AIS Newsletter Monthly Submissions

In an effort to make our online newsletter a valuable, informational tool for everyone, I have compiled the following guidelines for those staff members making monthly contributions.

If you have any questions or comments, please do not hesitate to contact me.

* Each newsletter will be published, as is, no later than the first work day of each month. Therefore, any information NOT submitted by the given deadline (see below) is not guaranteed to make publish. If time issues are a concern, please see me about the possibility of making specific arrangements.

* I will solicit for upcoming newsletter information each month, on or around the 5th. This will give you an approximate two-week time period to gather information for each newsletter. Example: Submissions will be due to me on the 20th of each month, i.e., submissions for "May" will be due by the 20th of April.

Note: For those months where the 20th falls on a weekend, information will be due on the last business day before the 20th.

* The information that appears in your section is up to you. You may submit as much or as little as you'd like, although as always -- the more, the better.

* Remember that the newsletter is time sensitive. If you wish to use any of your information for announcement or scheduling purposes, you'll need to keep dates in mind. However, reviews of meetings, classes, etc. that have already taken place are also welcome.

* A monthly newsletter schedule is available for review at any time (see above link).

* Information can be submitted to me via e-mail (see below link), either in the body of your message, or as a Word attachment (for larger files).
