New Resources for Content Providers

Web & Communication Services (W&CS) has recently created two new products to assist content providers of the Administrative Information Systems (AIS) Web site--a RedDot CMS User Guide and AIS RedDot CMS Tips.

RedDot is the Content Management System (CMS) used by content providers to publish information found on the AIS site, and the RedDot process needed to be changed to incorporate improvements related to the recent redesign.

The updated User Guide is a complement to individualized training that content providers have already received (or will receive). It includes a brief introduction, along with step-by-step instructions on how to use each of the RedDot templates, re-arrange content on pages, and properly disconnect content.

The AIS RedDot CMS Tips, written in a similar style as the AIS Writing Tips, will focus on one topic per month, either reviewing information content providers have already learned, highlighting any changes or improvements to RedDot, or responding to commonly asked questions.

We hope that our content providers find these sources of information useful as they continue to provide their valuable service, and we welcome any questions or comments.
