Object Code Description Change

Starting in fiscal year 2008/2009, object code 0490 (old description - Management Fee) will have a description of Program Management.

To get FIT to reflect this change, do the following:

  1. After launching FIT, select the "Action" drop down menu located in the top left corner.
  2. Next, select the "Refresh Central Objects" menu item.
  3. Now FIT will have the changed Object Code description noted above.

For any saved FIT reports which have object codes as report lines (you will have to do this for all reports which display object codes as report lines).

  1. Select the "Report Builder" button.
  2. Select the "Action" drop down menu located in the top left corner.
  3. Select the "Modify Report" menu item and then select the report you wish to modify.
  4. Select the object code report line (0490 Mgmt Fee) and then select the "Delete Line" button.
  5. Select the "Add Line" button (the new line should say "new object line").
  6. Select the "Assign" button.
  7. In the next window you should see the object code 0490 Program Management on the right-hand side, select it and push the left [<-] button and the object code should now appear on the left-hand side. Select the "Assign" button.
  8. The report line on the left side will now say "0490 Program Management" and might be out of order in the report. If so, select the line and drag it above or below the line you need it to be.
  9. Select the "File" drop down menu located in the top left corner and select the "Save" menu item.
  10. Your saved FIT report will now reflect the object code change.
