Student DB--2 New Columns Available on uf_UCM Table

Data Warehouse Student Database Users,

As of Friday, December 5, two new fields were added to the uf_ucm table.

Affected Database: student
Affected Tables: uf_ucm
Affected Columns: class_periods_required
                               practicum_periods_required

The two fields and their descriptions are as follows:

class_periods_required: The number of standard university class periods for which a course must be scheduled to meet faculty senate requirements.
practicum_periods_required: The quantity of practicum periods required for a course.

Documentation for these new fields is available online from the uf_UCM column description pages. As always, in order to utilize these new fields you’ll need to re-link these tables in your ODBC connection. Your current queries will not be affected.
