Student DB--Certification Tables Renamed

Data Warehouse Student Database Users,

To help clarify the differences indicated in an earlier email, the below tables have been renamed. The original tables will remain on the data warehouse for a week. This will allow everyone using these tables to make the appropriate changes and point to the new tables.

New Table Name: uf_pde_certification_data
Old Table Name: uf_certification_data

New Table Name: pde_certification_data
Old Table Name: certification_data

To change your existing query (using MS Access) do the following:

  1. Link to the student database and pull in the newly named tables.
  2. Go into design mode of your original query.
  3. Select from the pull down menu 'Query' then 'Show Tables'.
  4. Add the new table to your query.
  5. In your query, change the existing table name to the new table name.
  6. Delete the original table from this query.
  7. Save your query.
