Access 2007 Report Training

There are still seats available for the Data Warehouse: Introduction to Reports Using MS Access 2007 training on:
- November 5, 2009 (1 p.m. - 5 p.m.) and November 6, 2009 (8:30 a.m. - 12 p.m.)
- Location: 23 Willard Building
- Cost: $50/person
Prerequisite(s): Data Warehouse access is required; Data Warehouse: Introduction to Queries Using MS Access 2007 and Data Warehouse: Advanced Queries Using MS Access 2007 or equivalent knowledge and skills.
This hands-on training session builds upon the knowledge and skills presented in Data Warehouse Introduction to Queries and Advanced Queries. Only those features of Microsoft Access 2007 that are needed to effectively and efficiently retrieve and manipulate Data Warehouse data are covered. This workshop uses a training database delivered from the Student Database in the Data Warehouse. The session emphasizes those tables and fields in the Student Database that are most commonly used, though the skills can be applied to all of the Penn State's Data Warehouse databases. A manual will be provided in this workshop.
Objectives:
- Edit Reports in Design View
- Use Expressions in Reports
- Use Conditional Formatting
- Set properties for the various sections of a report
- Create mailing labels
- Insert calculations into a report
