Available Assistance for Document Imaging

Please feel free to contact the AIS Document Manangement Consultant at any time for further questions or assistance.

The Imaging Users Group (IUG) has been restructured as of the IUG Meeting held on 2/28/2007. This group will consist of members from the Penn State Professionals who have their own Imaging Infrastructure and handle their own Imaging Projects. Each area should have one or two representatives that will commit time to attending a meeting every other month. Two representatives from AIS will be attending and Shelley Butler, Document Imaging Consultant of AIS, will be the moderator of the meetings and the IUG listserv. End users of the Imaging systems should communicate their concerns/ideas to their designated area representative to handle.

The IUG listserv is used to share minutes from meetings, news about upcoming meetings, to answer questions, exchange ideas, and provide help to people who are implementing imaging projects.

IUG Meetings are held in Room 2 Shields Building.

The Meeting Dates for 2007 are listed below:

January 26, 2007 - 3:00 - 4:30 (Could change due to room scheduling)

February 13, 2007 - 3:30 - 5:00

March 20, 2007 - 3:30 - 5:00

With the new Centralized Image Hosting Service, AIS also administers a listserv for only the members of the Image Hosting Service. This listserv was created exclusively for communications regarding system outages or upgrade information. If you are a member of the Central Image Hosting service and would like to a member of the listserv, please email the Listserv Manager.
