Step 1:

1. Associate the FIT application (fit.im) to its program (visual).
2. Select the 'File' drop down menu from the top of your screen. (Main window menu bar)
3. Select "Get Info" and view the contents of the 'Open with:' section.
4. Click the drop down menu under "Open with:" and select the 'Other...' option.
5. A 'Choose Other Application' window is now open. Go to the harddrive and find the 'ibisfit' directory. Select the file 'visual', make sure to check the 'Always Open With' near the bottom of the window and click the 'Add' button.
6. The 'Open with: drop down menu should now have'visual (default)(Visual Works Version 7.2)' in it.
7. Exit 'Get info' section
   

Step 2: There are two ways to launch FIT:

Option 1: Open the 'ibisfit' directory and open the file 'fit.im'.

Option 2: Create an Alias to add to the Dock or Desktop.

1. Open the 'ibisfit' directory and select the file 'fit.im'.
2. Select the 'File' drop down menu from the top of your screen. (Main window menu bar).
3. Select 'Make Alias'. There is now an Alias file in the 'ibisfit' directory.
4. Rename the new Alias file "FIT".
5. Drag the 'FIT' Alias file to the Dock or desktop.
6. Open the 'FIT' Alias file.
   
   Note: The 'FIT' Alias file is just a shortcut to the file "fit.im" in the 'ibisfit' directory.
