Frequently Asked Questions - FIT
QUESTION: After installing FIT, can I move the 'ibisfit' folder to a destination of my choice on my computer?

ANSWER: AIS does not recommend moving the 'ibisfit' folder.  FIT is installed directly off of the hard drive for functional and support reasons.  Moving the 'ibisfit' folder can/will cause FIT to not work properly.

QUESTION: I have an account structure carryover for the next fiscal year, when can I see this account in FIT for the next fiscal year?

ANSWER: Starting January 1st each year, FIT allows users to view accounts for the next fiscal year.

QUESTION: How can I check the version of updates I have downloaded for FIT?

ANSWER: Within the FIT launcher, go under the 'Help Menu' item and choose "Update Info." A window will display your current downloaded update information.

QUESTION: When launching FIT, should I download new updates if they are available?

ANSWER: The Update Manager allows users the choice to download FIT updates.  AIS recommends that users download updates as they become available.  Not all updates are critical to download. But keep in mind, not downloading updates could cause FIT to not work properly, or cause incorrect calculations.  Please review the Update Manager Update page for information on updates.

QUESTION: What is the Update Manager?

ANSWER: The Update Manager allows users the choice to download future FIT updates without having to install the client again and allows AIS to make changes more easily.

QUESTION: Where can I download the FIT application?

ANSWER: The latest version of FIT can be found at our Web site describing the FIT application.

QUESTION: How can I check my version of FIT to see if I have the latest release installed?
