New Features of EIS, 4th Edition
This document reviews each of the new features that have been added to Penn State’s Enterprise Information System (EIS). It is designed for existing users of the system who have taken the EIS training that is currently offered from ITS Training Services or those who have equivalent experience. If you have not taken the EIS hands-on training and are interested in participating, please visit the ITS Training Services website (http://its.psu.edu/training/) to register online.
All of the examples in the EIS New Features 4th Edition handout use the Fall Official Enrollment Model.
The new features reviewed in the downloadable PDF file include:
1. Three new Zero Suppression options, including: Divide by Zero, Missing, and Overflow Values.
2. Five new calculation types including Average, Median, Minimum, Maximum, and Percentile.
3. New text formatting options for Custom Exception Highlighting.
4. Enhanced options for controlling the appearance of reports exported as PDF files.
5. Three new chart types including Simple Line, Scatter, and Correlation.
6. New options for controlling the appearance of charts.
