Becoming an EIS Developer

  1. In order to develop for the Enterprise Information System, you must first purchase a desktop version of the EIS product(s). Several copies of the software are available locally and may be purchased by contacting the EIS Consultant.

  2. Shelley Gette is available to assist in the configuration of the software.

  3. Once the EIS product has been installed on your desktop, you then either query the Data Warehouse or local database, and build a model or report based on the needs of the executive(s) you support.

  4. Because of the need for standards and conformity of development, it is required that you present your concept and model or report plan to the EIS Coordinating Committee before it is placed on the EIS for the Web Server.
