AIS will be enhancing the eCommerce software over the Summer, 2004. The target date for having the enhanced system available to the Penn State community is on or before August 16th. Shortly after that time we will transition our ePay users over to the enhanced eCommerce system. The transition should have little or no impact on the majority of our ePay users.
Web applications connecting to eCommerce via the eCommerce (ePayment) API will be given a new set of URLs for testing and production. Web applications will have until November 1st, 2004 to switch to the new system. We will have more detailed instruction on the testing and configuration on or after July 1st.
We will be discussing the Migration Project at the June 9th Users Group meeting and we would ENCOURAGE all interested parties to attend.
eCommerce Account Freeze
As we enhance the eCommerce software this summer, we will need to impose a freeze on new eCommerce Account setups from Monday, June 14 through Friday, August 13th. Any new eCommerce Account setup requests received during this period will be processed after August 13th. Please contact Richard Dumm directly at RichardDumm@psu.edu if you have any questions.
ePay Links
Did you lose or forget your browser links to ePay? Go to our new ePay Links page, where you can find links to Merchant Administration, ePay Credit Card Authorization and ePay History pages!
eCommerce Training Tutorials
We now have Four eCommerce Training Tutorials available on line for ePay Authorization, ePay History, Merchant Admin Credits/Refunds and Merchant Admin Reports (ROCR, Credits and Statistics). These interactive tutorials are good refreshers or a great tool for training new personnel on the functions and features of eCommerce! Go to our eCommerce Training tutorial page for more information.
