How Is the Service Currently Being Used? Listed below are the current "Production" clients using the Centralized Image Hosting Service. Keep in mind that there are many other departments using the Optical Image Technology Inc. software, but maintain all of their own systems. Listed below are the current "Test" clients using the Centralized Image Hosting Service: Altoona Faculty Searches - Setup in Test, waiting on training and final approval of cascade and user keys. (Scanning resumes, cover letters, references and etc. for Faculty) Altoona Division of Undergraduate Studies - Setup and scanning, but converting to pulling data from ISIS and then re-train. (Scanning all documentation for the students of their college) Behrend Career Dev. Office - Setup and Trained - (Scanning company communications, mentor, student information for interviews and so forth) Behrend School of Humanities & Social Sciences - setup and waiting on approval for cascade and follow up with training. (Scanning Syllabi for Faculty and by course) Behrend Financial Office - Setup and trained. Scanning purchasing card reconciliations and receipts and pulling data from IBIS to populate user keys. Dickinson Registrar's Office - setup and waiting for purchase of scanner and computer, as well as designate person to train. (Scanning everything in each students file.) University Budget Office - they have been in test since 11/2005 and have been trained. They are struggling with the load and how to structure the process. College of Education Dean's Office - they are setup and waiting for their purchase of equipment to install and train. College of Liberal Arts/Administrative Services - early stages of cascade setup and waiting on purchase of equipment. This is a listing of departments with which AIS has begun initial setup. AIS also has a list of additional clients that are strongly considering the use of the Image Hosting Service. |
