Scanner Recommendations



Things to consider prior to purchasing a scanner:
  • The scanner MUST be Twain Driver compatible
  • Estimated daily volume
  • Functionality requirements (duplex, color, document feeder, flat bed)
  • Number of workstations which will require access to the scanner
  • Budget constraints

Can the multi-function machines be used?

Example: If a networked copier/scanner machine is available, can this be used for scanning?

Things to consider when using a networked multi-function machine:

  • Will the machine be readily accessible when needed?
  • By using this machine for scanning, will the copying projects of others be delayed?
  • Is the machine networked?
  • Is the ability to send scanned images to a desktop available?
