The following fields will be removed from the STUDENT_SEM_FUTURE, STUDENT_SEM_CURR,  STUDENT_SEM and HIST_STUDENT_SEM tables in the STUDENT database sometime around May 20th, 2006:

CODE-STUD-MAJR-APPL-OPT1        
CODE-STUD-MAJR-APPL-OPT2        
CODE-STUD-MAJR-APPL-OPT3        
CODE-STUD-MAJR-APPL1            
CODE-STUD-MAJR-APPL2            
CODE-STUD-MAJR-APPL3            
CODE-STUD-MAJR-APPROVAL-APPL1   
CODE-STUD-MAJR-APPROVAL-APPL2

All of the above fields can be found on the entrance_to_major table.  The fields are being removed to avoid confusion and duplication. If you are using any of these fields, your queries will need to be changed to point to the entrance_to_major table.

A warning note will be sent before the fields are removed.  At that time, the student_sem tables should be relinked.

If you are using MS Access, you can relink the tables as follows:
Select Tools
Select Database Utilities
Select Linked Table Manager
Click on the box before each table that is affected (I suggest you don't relink tables that are not affected by the change)
Select OK
