MAC Platform - For Mac OSX and OS9
Mac Platform OSX
The Macintosh OSX needs to install an ODBC driver in order to connect to the Data Warehouse SQL Server. Below are some resources that might help you locate a driver. Prior to purchasing any driver, we strongly suggest that you obtain a 30 day free trial to make sure it works correctly with all your installed software.
http://www.actualtechnologies.com/ (Their SQL Server ODBC Driver) http://www.datavations.com/ (Their Connect4 software) http://www.openlinksw.com/ (Their Open Link software) Another option would be Virtual PC. More information on Virtual PC can be found at: http://www.apple.com/macosx/applications/virtualpc/
Mac Platform OS9 The below OS9 instructions are for people who currently have a SequeLink license. We do not have any more SequeLink licenses. Since they must be purchased in bulk, and will not work on the Mac OSX, we will not be purchasing any more licenses.
To avoid computer connectivety problems, please use the DNS host name when configuring computers. The host name of the server is: warehouse.oas.psu.edu
