The ITS Safety Committee has scheduled fire extinguisher training for anyone in ITS who would like to know more about fire safety. The training will take place May 5 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. in TSB room 22C.
On Tuesday, April 12, 2016, Microsoft released three patches that complicated authentication with machines that are either connected to the Access domain or to other domains that have a trust to the dce.psu.edu realm. The three patches were temporarily held on the WSUS server so an analysis could be done.
Registration is opening soon for the IT Share the Knowledge Conference taking place April 29, from 8:00 a.m. to noon, in 22 TSB. Partnering with IT Shares, the conference will offer a morning filled with networking, learning and sharing for all Penn State IT staff members.
Recently some visual changes have been made to the AIS website to make news stories more prominent on the site. You’ll now notice that on the site’s home page, the latest four news articles are now prominently displayed, along with a custom graphic for each news story.
On Tuesday, June 16, 2015, Administrative Information Services (AIS) will implement a new security setting on WebIBIS. This change will require all WebIBIS users to be connected to the Penn State Network prior to accessing WebIBIS.
On Wednesday, July, 1, 2015, AIS will implement a new security setting on the Mainframe. This change requires all registered users of the Mainframe (ACOM, BCOM, CCOM, TSO, and Roscoe) to update settings within the program they use to connect to the Mainframe.
