Penn State's Social Security Number Project

Beginning January 1, 2005, the PSU ID will be used in place of the Social Security number as the University's primary identifier. We will use this number for all internal processes that do not require Social Security numbers. Social Security numbers will still be collected, but their use is restricted by University Policy AD19. Whether you are a student or faculty/staff member, this Web site will provide you with all the information you need to know.
