Printing AIMS Reports There are two ways to print your AIMS reports: Printing via HTML Printing via Excel Note: If the report is saved to a file, the user can start Excel to open the file. The report should be saved with a file extension of .csv or .xls Known Internet Browser behavior when using the Excel links in AIMS: Running in Microsoft Windows 2000 and using Internet Explorer 6.0By default, when Netscape Communicator is installed it includes Helper Application file extensions associations Click on the Excel Report link on the Generated Report window OR Click on the Ledger as an Excel Report link on the SpreadSheet window If Communicator opens the window below--or any window which is not the Excel file-- then the helper application file extension needs to be added Note: Please contact the AIS Support Center at (814) 863-2276 for assistance with installing or associating the helper application file extension for Netscape Communicator.
When you click on the Excel Report link on the Generated Report window or the Ledger as an Excel Report link on the SpreadSheet window, Netscape Communicator will open a dialog asking you if you would like to save or open a downloaded file. If you choose Open the File, Netscape Communicator will open the file in Excel -- as well as a new Netscape Communicator browser window that contains nothing; close this page.
2. Click on the Excel Report link on the Generated Report window -OR- Click on the Ledger as an Excel Report link on the SpreadSheet window. Netscape will open a dialog asking you if you would like to save or open a downloaded file. If you choose Open the File, Netscape will open the file in Excel--as well as a new Netscape browser window that contains nothing; close this page. ![]() Note: This is due to the way Netscape interprets Java Script. There is not yet a solution for this issue concerning the AIMS application. Mozilla 1.0 1.
