Although AIS advertises its online systems to be available according to the above schedule, the effective availability might vary for some customers who pass through other computer systems or networks to access AIS. As an example, the maintenance schedules of other University facilities (e.g., your local network, the University's primary Security Server, the high-speed data backbone) may affect your ability to access AIS systems. Typically, when such maintenance activities are required, they are performed between 5 and 7 a.m. In addition, some systems (e.g., Data Warehouse) might have certain components unavailable during off-peak times to perform database maintenance.
