Planning & Documentation

In order to fulfill its daily mission and effectively plan for the future, Administrative Information Services (AIS) documents its Annual Reports, Strategic Plans, Master Plan, and Future Direction.

Annual Reports

The Pennsylvania State University operates on a Fiscal Year budget cycle starting on July 1 and ending on June 30 of the following year. As such, all units of Information Technology Services (ITS) produce an Annual Report based on the Fiscal Year calendar. This section includes Annual Reports for Administrative Information Services (AIS) from FY2003-2004 through the present.

Master Plan

In early 2006, the AIS Strategic Planning Steering Committee charged AIS, a unit of ITS, to develop a Master Plan for administrative information systems at Penn State. This plan continues Penn State's long-standing vision that collaborative administrative information systems best serve the needs of Penn State's stakeholder communities, which includes students, faculty and staff, central offices, and administrative offices across all campuses. The Master Plan supports the University's strategic planning process.
